What are the adult
to child ratios?

At our centre, we prioritize the well-being and individual attention given to each child. To ensure a high standard of care, we surpass the Ministry of Education's requirements for adult-to-child ratios. With a license for 55 children, we have a dedicated team of eight members of our teaching staff present on-site daily.

For children under two years old, we maintain a maximum ratio of three teachers to 12 children, achieving a ratio of 1:4. This ratio allows us to provide exceptional care and individualized attention, surpassing the Ministry of Education's requirement of 1:5.

Similarly, for children over two years old, we maintain a ratio of 1:8, which is lower than the Ministry of Education's requirement of 1:10. This ensures that our teachers can effectively engage with and meet the needs of each child in our care.

By exceeding these ratios, we strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment where each child receives the attention they deserve. We believe that these lower ratios contribute significantly to the overall quality of care and education we provide at our centre.

If you have any questions or would like further information about our ratios or any other aspect of our centre, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to ensure the well-being and development of your child.

How many children
can attend in a day?

According to our operational license issued by the Ministry of Education, we are authorized to accommodate a maximum of 43 children over two years old and 12 children under two years old on-site at any given time. This ensures that we can maintain a safe and enriching environment for all the children in our care.

The specific numbers are set in accordance with regulatory guidelines to ensure the well-being and individual attention given to each child. By adhering to these limits, we can effectively manage our resources and provide a high-quality experience for every child.

If you have any further questions or require additional information about our capacity or any other aspect of our center, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for your child.

Are the educators first aid trained?

Yes, most of our qualified teachers at our center hold a first aid certification. We strongly believe in the importance of ensuring a safe and secure environment for our children. Therefore, we aim to have all our teachers equipped with first aid training.

According to the Ministry of Education's requirements, at least one teacher per 25 children should be first aid trained. However, we go above and beyond these guidelines by ensuring that all of our qualified teachers have obtained first aid certification.

This commitment to first aid training allows us to promptly respond to any unforeseen situations or emergencies that may arise while your child is under our care. We prioritize the well-being and safety of all children, and our teachers' first aid training plays a crucial role in ensuring their health and security.

If you have any further questions or would like additional information regarding our teachers' qualifications or safety measures, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to address any concerns you may have.

Can I choose my child's
key teacher?

We understand that choosing the right key teacher for your child is an important consideration. At our center, the selection of your child's key teacher is carefully made by our teaching team. They take into account various factors, including the amount of time a teacher will be spending with your child.

Consistency is a key aspect that we prioritize for the benefit of your child, your family, and the teacher. Establishing a strong bond and maintaining continuity in care and support are essential for your child's well-being and development.

Rest assured that our teaching team is experienced and dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child. They work collaboratively to ensure that your child receives personalized attention and a nurturing environment.

If you have any specific preferences or concerns regarding your child's key teacher, we encourage you to discuss them with us. While the final decision is made by the teaching team, we value your input and will do our best to accommodate your needs and preferences to the extent possible.
